Our brand House This is a call to ‘house’ or to simply ‘take this home’. We intend to go beyond the products that we create, and invite you to take home the ideas and stories behind our designs. We hope to inspire you, to discover things about your own personality as you weave through inspirational colors, designs and stories that we create. We’re here to create a canvas for the beautiful world out there that we seem to have forgotten in the complexities of daily life. Each theme is vibrant and designed to stimulate your senses and take your imagination on a journey to discover forgotten wonders.
The House This logo comprises of three spokes. These represent the three tangible facets of space, objects and people who make a home. They also represent the three intangible emotional spokes of ideas, thoughts and actions that come together to create a home. We aim to help you create an ecosystem of functional and well-designed holistic homes. We encourage you to find your own inspirations through our work.

History
Surya Exports was born in the year 1988. The company started out at as a successful export house of paper machie’ and brass items and became a pioneer in its own right when it ventured into the then relatively nascent handloom sector.
Today, Surya Exports is a Government of India recognized export house and is a permanent exhibitor at prestigious home textile fairs the world over. The customer base is diverse with clients in all the major countries of the European Union and further in Canada, United States of America, South America and West Asia.
Surya Exports has been the recipient of a number of prominent awards from the Export Promotion Council of Handicrafts, Government of India and the Handloom Export Promotion Council, Government of India, which stand testimony to its consistent outstanding performance. The coming years paved the way for expansion and bore fruit to the domestic division, Tree of Life. And with it, brand House This was born.

The foundation of the House This brand stands rooted on the three pillars of: community, culture and conservation. We aim to create spaces that are authentic to our local communities – both our customers, partners, artisans and designers.
We also seek to help share the intricacies and nuances of various cultures that inspire us through the medium of design. Our long arching goal is to look at natural habitats and physical spaces via a lens of sustainability and conservation. As a brand, our inherent creative expression seeks a focus on building a culture that promotes things and feelings that are long forgotten or lay unnoticed in the humdrum of everyday busy lives.
