Introducing Mysore - India’s Architectural Gem

Welcome to the world of Mysore, our new spring 24’ collection that is inspired by the royal city of Mysore. With a vibrant palette, traditional motifs and majestic designs, our Mysore collection creates a subtle luxurious look in your everyday home.

With the Mysore collection, we intend to bring out the rich history and royal heritage of Mysore, which has been a source of inspiration for renowned filmmakers, poets, writers, and painters across the world.

The Collection Unveiled

The Mysore collection is primarily inspired by the iconic Mysore architectural gem, The Mysore Palace. The Mysore Palace unfolds the tales of royal Mysore heritage with its ornate halls, exquisite furnishings, and breathtaking courtyards. The Mysore Palace is renowned for its Indo-Saracenic style of architecture, characterised by a harmonious fusion of Hindu, Muslim, Rajput, and Gothic architectural elements.

Mysore’s Kalyan Mantapa (a wedding mandap) has also influenced many of the designs and motifs in the Mysore collection. It is a homage to royal weddings with its intricate carvings, majestic pillars and ornate ceilings.

A Closer Look at the Collection

The Mysore collection introduces our Neelkanth, Pushp, and Gulshan designs. All these designs are adapted as cushion covers, table runners and table placemats.

Neelkanth

The Neelkanth design captures the beauty of a peacock, which is one of the recurrent motifs in the Mysore Palace.

The peacock motif also holds a deep cultural, symbolic and aesthetic significance in Indian homes. It signifies royalty, piousness, and elegance.

Pushp

The Pushp design is inspired by the floral jali design that is carved on the walls of Kalyan Mantapa.

The floral jali design brings natural elegance and grace to the overall design and makes it visually appealing.

Gulshan

The Gulshan design takes inspiration from the floor tiles of Kalyan Mantapa, which are made of colorful mosaics.

Wrapping Up

Our Mysore collection takes us back to the richness of India’s culture and heritage and reminds us of the beauty of Indian landscapes.
