Celebrating Fathers - Dads Can be Everything

Father - papa, dad, pop, baba - there are so many words that exist to address fathers across different languages, but the emotions these words bring are all the same. From being our cheerleaders to being their daughters’ first gentlemen and their sons’ first playmates, fathers can be everything!

On this Father’s Day, House This celebrates dads, showcasing and embracing fathers who actively co-parent their kids, moving away from stereotypical perceptions. Through our campaign, ‘Dads Can Be Everything,’ House This presents an unfiltered image of dads who love cooking for their kids, cry at the drop of a hat, and love to change diapers!

In this article, team House celebrates their relationship with their dads and reminisces their fondest memories with their dads.

Namrata Dubey (Assistant Manager - HR & Admin)

Hailing from the city of Banaras, Namrata is living independently away from her parents and feels nostalgic about the days she spent in Banaras with her dad. She was elated to share how her father makes her feel whenever she visits home, especially enjoying early morning walks with her dad, followed by a wholesome breakfast.

Gurleen Sethi (Content Lead)

Gurleen feels extreme joy when talking about her dad. From discussing her day to enjoying ice cream at midnight, Gurleen truly feels that her dad is her human diary, who knows how to handle her ever-changing moods and makes her feel special in every phase of her life.

Mrinal Kaushik (Manager - Product Designer)

Born and brought up in Uttarakhand, Mrinal now lives independently and fondly recalls how almost every other night, when she visits home, she and her dad find reasons to convince her mom to have ice cream for dessert. Her go-to flavour is vanilla with a generous drizzle of chocolate syrup.

She also remembers a time when she was struggling with a 3D project for a college entrance examination and nearly gave up. However, her dad sent her a video with solutions at 2 a.m., showing his unwavering support.

Shivani Verma (Key Account Manager)

Talking about her dad, Shivani laughingly shared how she playfully argues with him, trying to convince him to eat fewer sweets.

She says her dad always encourages her to study and take on new challenges.

Kanika Gupta (Graphic Designer)

Kanika shares how she enjoys teasing her dad about waking up early in the morning. She chuckled, mentioning, "My father is up at 4 AM, while I struggle to get up by 10."

Nikita Rawat (Senior Manager - Accounts & Finance)

Nikita, a proud mother herself, recalls a memory of her father staying up late to help her with a challenging school project, even though he had to wake up early for work the next day.
